Marcus From Adelaid send us his surfing photo with Protecsun Surfhat on
"Hi Toshie, I bought one of your hats a while back and have been a bit slow in sending a couple of photos showing how well the hat stays on plus no more burnt face and neck ( hate using creams). The photos were taken last september at the east coast of Taiwan. Even after this wipe out and bounchin over the rocks the hat stayed in place. My 6'6" didn't fair so good.

Peregian Nippers Lead the way on sun safety
Thanks to Ms. Gina Foster who organized ProtecSun Surfhats for Peregian Surfclub Club Members.
They use our ProtecSun Surfhats with Pregian Beach Surf Club Logo.
They have become the first in Australia to introduce full protective hats to avoid sun damage.

They look like base ball caps and feels like wearing base ball caps.
This cap has hard peak and mesh side panels with chin strap.

Our ProtecSun Surfhats/surfcaps
We get inquiries about our Surfhats and Caps.
One of the inquiries is that "do ProtecSun Surfhats/caps have flap at the back?"
The Answer is No - our surfhats do not have the Flap at the back.
I considered at one point - however I decieded not to add to our products for now.
If you are concerned - I would suggest to wear rash shirts with high collar like I do.
For surfcaps I might consider for the next lot - however I am not sure how many people want flap at the back for surfcaps ?

Surfing Life - ProtecSun Surfhat/Cap Test Review
Surfing Life Magazine Tested our SurfHat and SurfCap for us.
Here is the Review from ASL Magazine - it will be published in January 09.
Wear a surf hat: Surf hats today are well-designed and are not an impediment to your surfing. The good folk at ProtecSun Surfhats specialize in these things and have a range to choose from. They have thought of everything from two different adjusting mechanisms to a mesh ear covering, so you don't feel like you're living inside a shell, to a plastic insert in the peak area ensuring the rim doesn't flop down into your face while riding. They're light weight, quick dry and they're the best we've ever tested.
Between the peak cap and the wide-rimmed hat we've found the wide-rimmed hat to be better, not just because it was more effective in sun protection but the shorter peak in front didn't obscure your vision while you're scratching into a set. You can buy these at select surf retail outlets or online for $39,95 . If you want to avoid looking like a prune when you're older or if you're unluckly enough to be folically challenged, you really should use one this summer.

We have two of them outside of our factory/showroom.
Once you have this Wind Vane - you check the wind direction all the time - I ckeck when I get up every morning and again, again....

SUN ZAPPER SUNSCREEN - AVAILABLE NOW
Non whiteing - goes on clear with all the qualities of normal zinc.
Clear Zinc (red tube) and Sports (Blue tube - Organic Formula).
They both work excellent - If you like to have Clear Zinc - simply choose red one.
If you like to have Organic Formula - Choose Blue one.
They do not sting your eyes either - you need to apply 30 min. before you go into water.
If you want great sunscreen without any extra colour - they are fantastic.

It is far the best Zink cream available.

Red colour surfhats will be available around end of August 08.
Keymeoh is wearing New Red Surf hat - he loves the colour.
The Red Surfhats will be available in XS and Small sizes only.
Keymeoh wears this red hat all the time in water. He wears in surfing contests which make him stands out in the cotest.
If you chose White, Tan, Red colour hats and caps for your love ones, it is really easy to spot them.
Warm Winter days here in Byron Bay
It seems Winter has not come yet here in Byron Bay.
But we get beautiful sunsets like winter - well it is end of June.
Some people are surfing in swimmers even.

Tyfoon swell hit Japan while we are visiting there
We went to Japan to see our family and freinds.
This photo was taking at Isonoura Beach where is in Osaka Bay.
All the pacific ocean side was closed out and we were hoping the swell will hit Osaka Bay and it did.
Photo is the beach break (Isonoura) where waves are small generally. There is peaky reef break at the Right hand side of the photo where surfable only when they have big swell. I don't have a photo of it - I took video.
We had a fun in Japan and I will let you know more about soon.
